Procchio/Campo all’Aia : spiaggie di sabbia tra le più grandi dell’isola.
D'inverno costruiscono dei muri di sabbia per contrastare le mareggiate, nell'immagine si può osservarne uno di questi muri di sabbia.
Situata all’interno dell’omonimo golfo, è racchiusa tra Punta Agnone e la Guardiola.
È formata in realtà dal lido di Procchio, il suo prolungamento naturale sulla destra: Campo all’Aia e ancora più avanti, la piccola spiaggia de La Guardiola.
Procchio è formata da una sabbia fine, che traccia un arco dorato accarezzato da un mare smeraldino e limpido, specie quando soffiano i venti meridionali che rendono piatta la superficie dell’acqua.

Procchio / Campo all'Aia: sandy beaches among the largest on the island.
In winter they build sand walls to counteract the storms, in the image one can observe one of these sand walls.
Located within the homonymous gulf, it is enclosed between Punta Agnone and the Guardiola.
It is actually formed from the beach of Procchio, its natural extension on the right: Campo all'Aia and even further, the small beach of La Guardiola.
Procchio is formed by a fine sand, which traces a golden arch caressed by an emerald and limpid sea, especially when the southern winds blow that make the surface of the water flat.

Procchio.
Le nuvole, il vento , tutta un'atmosfera particolare che solo il mare d'inverno trasmette, e così pure la spiaggia.
Il mare con le sue onde sospinte dal vento, riportano a galla e quindi depositano sulla spiaggia tantissime forme di cose particolari, una sopra tutte è una sorta di vari tipi di legno che hanno forme diverse, sembrano delle sculture.

The clouds, the wind, a special atmosphere that only the sea in winter transmits, and so does the beach.
The sea with its waves pushed by the wind, bring to the surface and then deposit on the beach many forms of special things, one above all is a kind of various types of wood that have different shapes, they look like sculptures.

A 10 image HDR drone composite panorama. Not quite winter yet, but we're getting there. And although I haven't caught too many of the glorious sunsets we've had here in the Southland the past couple of weeks, I have been able to catch the sunrise a few times.
This is moments before the sun cracked the surface, when the golden colors are especially vibrant. I brought the drone down to earth to catch the actual sunrise with my telephoto lens on the new EOS R5 and captured the image of the sun rising above the container ship I posted earlier in the week.
