Babies! I couldn't get a photo of all five, but I did count them off. We are holding our breaths for them to make it, as the garage in a bicycle helmet seems a tricky place to start off. They provided such joy this morning when we discovered them. New life: gift.

Also, I was so excited to get this photo, perched on a ladder with a macro lens, extremely careful not to touch anything.

A rainy day, a pressure headache for him, called into work for me. Not a good or bad day, really, just another quarantined day. Grateful for what we have while acknowledging that this is hard. Who's with me?

South of Airolo we found another nice spot, and as always we waited for some freight trains to pass. One of the 3 we saw was carrying Winner Spedition trailers from Wuppertal to Piacenza; a 937km trip by car.
