The Flickr Lounge ~ Windows & Doors

Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. All comments and Faves are very much appreciated

Many of the houses, all around Ottawa, were proudly displaying their red maple leaf! The weather has been extremely hot, close to 40 Celsius so the crowds in all the wonderful events throughout the city have been significantly smaller than other years!

Just joined Project Flickr - this was an open window to as it says on the board - Tea tasting!!

A couple of hours spent in York, 1st ever session doing a bit of street photography :)

Venice, Veneto, Italy.

We were scheduled to meet with Msgr Daniel Gallagher at the Gate of St. Anne for a visit to the Apostolic Palace at 8;15 AM, and learn about the folks who translate everything into Latin. It was a wonderful treat have a view from a non-tourist persepctive.

Okay, it's catch up time. I haven't posted for my 365 project since Thursday. It's been a long weekend and I got all caught up with macro experimentation's with flowers, water drops, office supplies...and other odds and ends around the house. But, I did manage to get out and about today...briefly as it was so chilly.

I had great plans for this week's photos. Then unfortunately life got in the way!

ODC, Windows and Doors

7DOS, Modern, Go For Bokeh Tuesday

Bokeh viewed through Modern tilt-and-turn windows partially covered with lots of little windows on stick-and-peel privacy sheets (because the neighbours' access path goes right past the kitchen window - that's modern life in Europe for you).

Tomorrow I start a self-imposed 31 Day Photo Challenge, together with a fellow Flickrite, which will require me to meet a photo-challenge-a-day, the results of which I'll be posting on my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/LyndaHPhotography as well as here on Flickr. My Facebook page is open so please feel free to visit and view it and if you're on FB comment/Like/Share if you like what you see.

I'm hoping that my 31DPC will coincide with the various daily ODC, 7DOS and Flickr Lounge challenges I endeavour to meet otherwise I'm going to have trigger finger, if there's such a thing - or I may have to miss a few Flickr challenges in May. So, to May Madness and beyond :-)!

This is probably my favorite ‘’door/window captures.’’ Beautiful flowers on the sidewalk and an amazing Coca-Cola sign above.

Gordes is a commune in the Vaucluse département in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It is located about 30km east of Avignon in the foothills of the Alps in the south of France. Gordes was established in the 8th century by monks of the Abbey of Saint-Chaffre.

Windows & Doors. This is a simple photo of an ordinary object, a window seen along the street in old Santa Fe, New Mexico. While the subject is mundane, there is something elegant in the colors, geometries, and optics of this view.
