I liked this lovely big porch. It reminded me of the ones I've seen in Quebec.
I love the wonderful details and textures of this old building in the tiny town of Aiello del Friuli, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of Italy.
ok, California is not really the prarie...but the challenge was to find a cottage or cabin...and let me tell you..there are not many of either in this part of the state.

Just about every small shop and resturant we went into there was a resident cat around. Very friendly creatures they were too, coming up to you to get their head scritched. l couldn't help but think...never in America would you see this...
I do hope they wash off the table as soon as the kitty gets tired of looking out the window....lol
So here we are in Den Bosch. Charming little town, walked around a little bit, but...damn...it is freezing cold and if that weren't bad enough the wind is howling.....and since I have been awake for 27 hours now...I am going to bed before I do something stupid like oh, don't know...reformat the hard drive on my pc...lol
