Some people oppose wind drive power generation on the grounds that it is scary to horses.

 

I didn't see any horses around so they could be right. Or perhaps the horses had already scurried away because I had a car or a threatening haircut or wore pants that were too unnerving a shade of grey.

枋川. Some areas on the Japan Sea coast have a lot of them but in this prefecture which is well known for strong winter winds they only have one and the last that I heard there were no plans to build more.

With the growth of Wind power and the new "Wind farms" expanding it was bound to happen. I was coming in from hunting on Saturday and had to wait while these trucks headed out from a truck stop. There were 3 truck each carrying 2 blades that must have been at least 75 feet long, if not more. The blades don't really look that large when they are mounted but ....

  

There are 7 of these 355 foot turbines about 700-1000 metres away from my home r

 

The noise you can hear is the wind not the turbines, So far they have been in audible at my home which is a great relief.
