With the growth of Wind power and the new "Wind farms" expanding it was bound to happen. I was coming in from hunting on Saturday and had to wait while these trucks headed out from a truck stop. There were 3 truck each carrying 2 blades that must have been at least 75 feet long, if not more. The blades don't really look that large when they are mounted but ....

If you've seen much of my photo stream you know I'm fascinated by these windmills. They are going up all over the place from just a few miles west of Ft Worth to Amarillo to northwest of Odessa Texas.
