WHEW! That was the most exciting game ever (and first win of the season!) They were up by 2 in the final minutes, but then the other team scored an impossible 3 point shot leaving them down by 1 with 30 sec to go! They got the ball, but lost it on a travelling penalty. With 3 seconds to go the other team got to pass the ball in - it was intercepted by Randy's friend Josh and run down the whole court to their basket and they scored in the final 1/2 second! It was just like one of those movies where the lovable underdog team finally wins with an incredible last second score!

The Craftside blog has been amazing - for the second time now, I have won a book, and again I didn't know I was even in a contest.
This book was written by Margaret Hubert - the instructor of Free Form Knit and Crochet that I took in 2008 or 2009. Photos from that class can be found here
I couldn't be happier with this win. This book will make for a great addition to my collection!

Aventurine leaf & freshwater pearl & sterling grape cluster (what a PAIN THAT was to make!) with sterling silver vine coils on 3 strands (brown suede and cord).
Either way, I get to keep the necklace and I made it my style so I'm happy with it. I hope the judges like it too. The prize is only $25 if I win, but it will pay for the supplies & then some. Jambo is always an expensive weekend, so any little bit will help!
The National Arena League Kicked Off Week 7 in Jacksonville Florida as the San Antonio Gunslingers invaded the Shark Tank at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday Night to take on the Jacksonville Sharks and My9oh4's John Lynch was on the field for the Shoot Out as the Sharks Defeated the Gunslingers 76-67.
After their road victory last week, the Sharks returned home to defend the Shark Tank and in an odd move added former Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Mike Hollis to the roster to add to the team Arell Nelson continues to control and this week the WINLESS San Antonio Gunslingers are in town looking for their first win in the National Arena League.
