Recently I was lucky enough to win a place on a street photography course with Amateur Photographer magazine. My first ever photography "lesson", and I really enjoyed it. So much so I bought a new camera...! Expect to see more from my new Fuji X-T10 in due course. I'll still be using the Panasonic LUMIX compact too.
The CEV Challenge Cup final was an amazing event and each athlete had so much desire to win. The crowd was loud and made an amazing atmosphere You can only dream about.

CSXT L007, the weekday Middleboro to Attleboro turn, has backed down into the Win Waste facility with their three GP40-2s and is about to double up a cut of outbound loaded trash cars at this important and relatively new customer that has breathed new life into the Myles Standish Industrial Lead. This lead is accessed from Attleboro Junction at MP 8.6 on the Middleboro Secondary mainline a bit over a half mile behind me where they dropped the balance of their train on their way back east from Attleboro.

Here is an unusual mixing of businesses. Wine making and Mining.. Wine maker BIANCHI hired a mining company to build many hundreds of feet of tunnels, deep under their property. This provide Bianchi with a very large, naturally cooled wine storage area.

The racecaller has declared it well before Swoop Dog has crossed the winning post. In fact you can already see that jockey Kyle Maskiell has begun to slow his horse. It's a tricky business finishing a race like this. When it is close (and I'll show you a close one in Race 6 on Saturday) the jockeys and horses are working overtime to get to the line.
But it's not so easy when you're two lengths in front with metres to go. The reason for this is that each race is monitored closely by "The Stewards", race judges that are more than willing to fine or suspend a rider if they feel he or she is not taking the horse to the line in a fully competitive fashion. At the same time the jockey and horse usually understand when they have a race "in the bag" and it is natural to want to slow even before the line.
No dramas here. Swoop Dog wins easily by a length and a half.
