The Cape fox (Vulpes chama) is also called the silver-backed fox. It is the only true fox and the smallest canid found in South Africa.
These Cape foxes were photographed in the wild in the Kgalagadi.
I continue my Road trip searching for interesting locations to shoot... but first I want to show you a little collection of my first wildlife photography... It is the first try, so please be gentle on me...
I took the photos in the Camargue, France. Very beautiful place that I recommend.

The Squirrel is now a regular visitor and has taken a liking to a particular tree in my garden. After starting to demolish my seed feeder he casually sat enjoying the spoils as I took his photo.
Isn't she just the cutest - female House Sparrow. In terms of numbers, it seems the boys way outnumber the girls in my back yard, and they all way outnumber the smattering of finches I get.
My Sibley guide describes the female as having a "plain drab crown" with a "dingy gray-brown" chest. "Plain", "drab" and "dingy"?? How dare they!
Taken on a trip to Strathdearn with David (Highlandfisky) last weekend. It was bright sunshine and virtually no breeze, the hares seemed happy to just sunbathe and take it easy, why not. A bit of movement would have added some interest to the photographs.

Now that deer hunting is done, I can return to some of our wildlife management areas to enjoy a January day hiking in 45 degrees! It was a beautiful day to be "Out & About!"
Fresh air, open country and well worn deer trails that provide nice hiking paths!

Die Schnaken sind bei diesem kühlen Wetter zum Glück auch sehr träge.
Deshalb gelang mir heute dieser Post-Focus Stack aus 224 Einzelaufnahmen.
