Thank you all for your comments, faves and support. I do not know why lately there was a sudden growth of interests in my work, so, I am sorry if I do not reply or reciprocate your comments and faves.

Please DO NOT fave my photos in large number. Fave only those photos that you like as I will not return your faves in large number.

Please also note that you may follow me but I may not follow you back as it is very time consuming to have too many friends.

Spotted this little one the other day. Waiting for moma to come back. Love spring.

I loved all the herons I saw on this trip. They included: Cocoi, Boat-billed, Capped, Zigzag, Fasciated, Striated and this pretty Rufescent Tiger-Heron.

Out for a test flight but stayed close to the nest. Really interesting to see both juveniles go out for an adventure.

Spring is rapidly aproaching, I sit in a meadow with a friend, and smell the flowrers.

Tinker Nature Park Henrietta, NY

What a great opportunity to see this well known couple first thing on our visit to Seney Wildlife Refuge. They've apparently been together since 1997, making the annual 3,000 mile migratory trip returning to Seney each year. Here's a great article on the couple:
