Steinhofgründe und Rosental
Die Steinhofgründe sind ein weitläufiges, idyllisches Naherholungsgebiet am westlichen Stadtrand von Wien. Sie bieten eine perfekte Mischung aus Natur, Geschichte und Ruhe, ideal für Spaziergänge, Wanderungen oder einfach zum Abschalten. Sanft geschwungene Wiesen, alte Baumbestände und kleine Pfade laden dazu ein, die Natur zu genießen. Das Rosental, ein Teil der Steinhofgründe, ist ein ruhiger und abgeschiedener Bereich, geprägt von weitläufigen Grünflächen, die sich wie ein natürliches Amphitheater ausbreiten. Die sanften Hügel und die umgebende Natur schaffen eine friedliche Atmosphäre, die sowohl bei Einheimischen als auch bei Besuchern geschätzt wird.
The Steinhofgründe is a serene recreational area on the western outskirts of Vienna, perfect for walks and relaxation. It features rolling meadows, old trees, and peaceful trails, offering stunning views of the city.
The Rosental, a tranquil part of this area, is known for its open green spaces and gentle hills, creating a calm, natural retreat. Together with the nearby historic Otto Wagner Church, the Steinhofgründe provide a unique blend of nature and history close to the city.

Actually started this for Sliders Sunday but works just as well for the B in in HBM - especially with The big Bike rally in Sturgis, SD on this week.
This is a local weekend cruise found when I pulled into one of many small towns around Iowa. The weekend bikers target various towns and routes and actually good for business - as they load up on food and ice cream and other items along the way.

had a very nice wellness-weekend.

I had visitors this weekend for lunch. My sister,niece, mom and brother were at my place for lunch. I made Pakistani Briyani, Roast Chicken and Salad.
After lunch - my niece, Noor requested me to take some of her photos, which I did. Noor is still studying in the local university in her final year.

This is going to be me this weekend:-) After two hectic weekends away, I intend to do nothing but relax. This little chilled out kitty was surrounded by squealing teenage schoolgirls when we walked back from school with Paige last Friday. Far from being scared, it was lapping up the attention. And it remained relaxed when it was our turn to give it some love.
Paige is 8 today - she recently asked her mother that when Phill and I die could she have our cats. It would seem we are disposable - lol
