Ty42-107 with a heritage train from Chabówka to Kasina Wielka climbs the long ascend between Mszana Dolna and Kasina. This was probably the last weekend of steam services on this lin as we know it as there is a major modernization coming up.

My dear Flickr friends, I have missed you a bit. No WiFi last weekend during my weekend in Zierikzee, an amazingly beautiful small city. However, Zierikzee was bathing in the sun the whole weekend when I was there with two of my dearest friends. I loved it!

Although I realized the potential for a good composition here more than a year ago already, it was only when I drove past this spot just before sunset a couple of days ago… that the conditions were perfect for what I wanted to try to achieve.

Här kommer mitt bidrag till fotosöndags veckotema - helg
De senaste helgerna så har jag jobbat så det var skönt att få ledigt för en gångs skull. Jag tycker om köra att runt här i Sverige och hitta nya ställen att fotografera tillsammans med min fru. Som den här serpentine vägen (tack till min vän Jens som berättade vart den fanns!). Jag fick min fru att köra fram och tillbaka ett antal gånger så att jag kunde få ljuset från bilen helt rätt. Det var bakljusen som ställde till problemet då det var ljust ute. Jag gissar att folk som bodde i området undrade var det var vi höll på med. Så denna helgen gick åt att ta denna bild.
Here comes my contribution to fotosöndag's weekly challenge - weekend.
It seems for the past few weekends I've been working so was glad to get this weekend off. Do enjoy a drive in the Swedish country side with my wife and discovering new places. Like this curve in a windy road (thanks to my friend Jens for telling us where it was!). Got my wife to drive backwards and forwards a number of times until I could get the light streaks just right from the car. It was the back lights that caused the problems as it was hard capturing them in day light. I'm sure the people living in the area started to wonder why the same car was driving passed their house again and again. So yeah my weekend was taken up just trying to get one photo!
The weekend wouldn't be complete without a shot of Ripley enjoying the great weather we had. This crazy toy is nicknamed "face hugger," and is one of her favorites. If you hadn't guessed it, Ripley is named after the character played by Sigourney Weaver in the movie Alien. :)
