Steinhofgründe und Rosental
Die Steinhofgründe sind ein weitläufiges, idyllisches Naherholungsgebiet am westlichen Stadtrand von Wien. Sie bieten eine perfekte Mischung aus Natur, Geschichte und Ruhe, ideal für Spaziergänge, Wanderungen oder einfach zum Abschalten. Sanft geschwungene Wiesen, alte Baumbestände und kleine Pfade laden dazu ein, die Natur zu genießen. I had visitors this weekend for lunch. My sister,niece, mom and brother were at my place for lunch. I made Pakistani Briyani, Roast Chicken and Salad.
After lunch - my niece, Noor requested me to take some of her photos, which I did. Noor is still studying in the local university in her final year.

As our plans were ruined (a visit to Plymouth Hoe) on the weekend due to the weather we decided to take the girls up on to the hoe after school.
Bethany had bought herself some rollerskates with money that she had saved, she wanted to practice skating on the promenade and Imogen wanted to ride on her scooter that she got for Christmas.
When we got on to the hoe we got slightly windswept , we couldn't believe how windy it was, which also meant looking out we could see just how rough the sea still is.
It was a lovely but a very cold hour spent together.
'Weekend Warrior II' is the name of the boat beached @Changi Beach. The boat is not mine. Found it on the beach when I went for a walk. If I were to sail a boat, most probably my boat would ended up like that. LOL! =P

This is going to be me this weekend:-) After two hectic weekends away, I intend to do nothing but relax. This little chilled out kitty was surrounded by squealing teenage schoolgirls when we walked back from school with Paige last Friday. Far from being scared, it was lapping up the attention. And it remained relaxed when it was our turn to give it some love.
Paige is 8 today - she recently asked her mother that when Phill and I die could she have our cats. It would seem we are disposable - lol

P097-19 is crossing McGirt's Creek on Aug 20, 2016 with the Heritage 145 on the point. Having the drone makes this much easier and legal to get this photo. A photo from the parallel street bridge has to be taken on an active roadway with no sidewalk or pullover lane, leaving only about 4' of space between the wall, you, and cars going 45 mph. CB Weekend was a weekend Freya went out of town. I was left belted with a list of different things I had to wear each day dependant on what numbers came up in the lottery. This was a super sissy day.
The day before, I remember well because it was WARM and I had to wear woolen long underwear, jeans and a super thick sweater. It was a long hot day.
