Still no new photos, so it's an orchid shot from the archives again... this is a so-called frog orchid (coeloglossum viride). I didn't spot the spider or its web at the time, I only noticed it afterward on the computer screen. But I like that detail :-)

I took these pictures from the Ocean Reef Marina on a saturday after my skate board run. Most saturdays the local yacht club holds races for yachts off the coast here. In the distance you can see the white beaches of Mullaloo (my local beach). Its always a beautiful spectacle to see. If you zoom in on the left side you can also see the surfers off Mullaloo beach.
after a week full of rain, the weekend was nice and sunny!

September 2018. Took a weekend trip to Goldfield Nevada in Esmeralda County, located in Esmeralda County. This area is know to have one of the darkest night skies in America.
We photographed the Milky Way and fireworks in the Car Forest of the Last Church, wild horses and donkeys. We even took a trip out to the ghost town of Goldpoint.
