Nick is going to leave us to live with a new adoption family that lives in Amsterdam. We hate to see him leave but we believe it is better for the group. We just pretend that he is going to college.
This may have been his last weekend with us. We will miss him.
Alumni Weekend was full of fun and interactive activities! On Friday night, the cocktail allowed faculty and alumni to catch up and Limin Kung treated the Animal Science alumni to ice cream from the creamery. On Saturday, Dr. Debbie Delaney held an apiary demonstration and allowed participants to harvest and take home their own raw honey. There was also a behind the scenes tour at the creamery led by our students and Assistant Manager, Jen Rodammer. Thanks to all of our alumni who came back to visit!

Travelled down to London for Josh's 1st birthday and Khrieu's 36th! Josh had a party in the afternoon, whilst Khrieu had a Chinese Karaoke do in the evening.
We stayed in a club room at the very nice Crowne Plaza London City.

The ferris wheel on Navy Pier is HUGE. Quite an impressive view from the top. I was a little freaked out by it, not because of the sheer hight, but because it literally does not stop, but goes slow enough that your entire party (6 of us) had to get on while it's still moving.
