Startup Weekend Orléans #6 - Classic Edition - #TGSW2017

Great weekend...

Saturday day immersed in the world of art at Patchings Festival 2010. I made some good connections and they loved my stuff. Onward and upward with the empire building :)

Saturday eve catching up with old friends and watching England match on a 18x9METRES screen!!! (though I wouldn't advise seeing Wayne Rooney that big, nearly sent me blind!)

Lovely chats and sleepover with friends and leisurely drive home in the sunshine today, stopping at Snugburys for a delicious icecream

Then to a plant fair with mum at Bodrhyddan Hall...and in true British weather, it rained and we got drenched!!

Ended the day with dinner and catch up with the inlaws.

Now am home and off to bed...this is what great weekends are made of :)

Thanks to Carl for organising a fabulous weekend in Dublin for us all. Here's to the next trip.

Bishop Walkowiak presided at Mass Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 with the Knights and Ladies of St. Peter Claver at Ss. Peter & Paul Church, Grand Rapids. The Knights and Ladies were assembled for their annual statewide gathering. The feast of the great Jesuit missionary, patron saint of slaves and of ministry to African Americans (1580-1654), took place that same weekend on Sept. 9. The Knights and Ladies of St. Peter Claver is an Order founded by the Josephite Fathers in Mobile, AL, in 1909. Modeled on the Knights of Columbus, the Order’s membership is open to all Catholic men and women, but is especially active in providing spiritual and pastoral benefit to those of African American descent. The Knights and Ladies work to let it be known that discipleship of Christ is indeed a sharing in the great People of God, the People of the New and Eternal Covenant, the New Israel, the Bride of Christ. As Catholics, we have one Lord and Savior; and in his Holy Name, we strive to bring his presence into every nook and cranny of our country and our lives. (Thank you to Father Den Morrow, diocesan archivist and pastor of Ss. Peter & Paul Parish, for the information above about the Knights & Ladies of St. Peter Claver)

Weekend trip to Cannon Beach, Oregon. The weather was amazing!

I went to Whitby Steampunk Weekend with a friend. It's not something I've ever been involved with, but I love looking at it; there were so many amazing costumes and stalls. I'm not very good at photographing people, which is why I stick to landscapes, but I never will be if I don't try ;)
