Enjoyed my last day of the family day long weekend today. Kath was away visiting friends in NYC so I had the entire weekend to myself in Toronto. Even had the chance to pick up some old cameras that I've forsaken since going compact. I've had no regrets going compact but I still haven't found a lens i love as much as Canon's FF 35L. Easily my favourite 35mm lens of all time. Admittedly I haven't shot with a Leica Summilux yet. One day maybe, in a future long weekend where I find manual focusing fun.
I've heard good things about the new Olympus 17mm f1.8 but think I might wait for the Fujinon 23mm 1.4 f1.4 to be finally released. Until then I have my trustly 35L, I just wish it was smaller.
This weekend saw some amazing cloud formations all throughout california. This was the best I could manage despite mother nature giving me everything to work with, I either forgot my batteries, or got kicked out of a spot from getting some shots that I really wanted. Well this upcoming weekend calls for partly cloudy skies, so I'm hoping for good things!

In the mid 90's I focused mainly on photographing models with my film camera. I had seen french photographer Veronique Vial's images in "Women Before 10am" and "Men Before 10am too" and loved the style. Seemingly non-posed candids of men and women in their own homes as they were when they awoke. I chose to follow that style and shoot my own images. To this day, this is still my favorite style of image to not only shoot but view. Many of my Flickr favorites reflect this. I plan to start posting one of those past images every weekend. I hope you enjoy them!

We had the house to our selves this rainy weekend, so my wife let me dress for the whole weekend. I got to dress and act the part of a 14 year old girl since Friday evening. While I would never pass as a woman none the less a 14 year old girl, it is a fun fantasy. All the clothes I have come from the girls dept down to the panties and training bras. I ended up sleeping in this on Saturday night. While my wife doesn't mind playing along and even brings home girls clothes for me, she has no idea I have pictures or worse have posted them. Afgelopen weekend is een nieuwe bus geïntroduceerd in de Britse hoofdstad. Het is voor het eerst in vijftig jaar dat er weer een speciaal voor Londen ontworpen bus door de straten van de stad zal rijden. De eerste indruk is goed. De bus heeft drie ingangen en zo kun je dus makkelijk instappen. De bus heeft twee trappen – een voorin en een achterin - om de topverdieping te bereiken. Dat is een trap meer dan we gewend zijn. Maar nog opvallender is de open instap aan de achterzijde. Je kunt heel gemakkelijk op en van de bus stappen. Hop-on en hop-off zoals de Londenaren dat gewend waren van de oude Routemaster. Ik denk dat de inwoners en bezoekers van de stad de nieuwe bus snel in hun hart zullen sluiten, want het vehikel ziet er erg mooi uit. De man van Transport for London (TfL) die ons ontving was zelf ook erg enthousiast over de nieuwe bus. Hij wees ons op “the mix of innovative features” aan boord van de nieuwe bus zoals “a new seat pattern, low energy LED lighting, a climate controlled air system and next stop audio and visual announcements”. Londen heeft acht bussen aangeschaft. Ze worden in de komende weken getest en gaan vanaf eind februari rijden op lijn 38 tussen Victoria en Hackney. De bussen hebben TfL £1,6 miljoen per stuk gekost. Daar zitten ook de ontwikkelkosten in. De vele tientallen bussen die nog volgen zullen dan ook significant goedkoper zijn.
We went out for sushi this weekend. It is said that people in Vancouver eat more sushi than people in Japan. When I went looking for an actual reference, all I found was references to the mythical they so take what you will from it.
I do know we love sushi, and it is affordable. You can't turn around without seeing a place that offers all-you-can-eat sushi for $10.95 ($15.95 to include all-you-can-eat sashimi) and we have mall fast food restaurants that will make a mixed sushi/sashimi dish in front of you for $6.95
So we had relatives visiting for the weekend, and that was the perfect excuse. Plenty of sushi, and for Jade, and I, a lot of Tuna and Salmon sashimi.
At least we know it isn't too greasy or salty!
Yes...another weekend is here! I will be staying in Kuala Lipis and maybe try to do some photo shoot around this area.

Eugenia is ready and pack for a secret weekend rendezvous with her current love interest. The lady is being coy when asked who is her new lover. She will neither confirm or deny any rumor that is on the grapevine. One sources say that she was having an intimate lunch with an older distinguish gentleman of enourmous means last week. Could this mystery man be her hot weekend date ? The sources and the lady in question refuse to name names. I guess we will just have to wait and see !!!;-D!!!
