Day 124 (v 5.0) - tried desperately to repair the old toilet but they seem to have made it disposable. the earlier bruise was from lugging the new one from the car to the house. had some help taking it up the two flights of stairs today. installed and working! woot woot!

I spent a great weekend, photographing dances. My main setup was 3 Indra 500's. I set up a 4th light with a wide angel dish and grid way off to camera left. I changed the channel for that light and had a second remote on my D810 with a Sigma 35mm. My hope was to catch the in-between shot when the dancers were thinking about the pose they wanted to do. I only got 33 images with that setup, but I'm digging how it worked out.
Alumni Weekend Tribute Reception celebrating philanthropy, volunteer leadership and service to the College.
At least for the weekend.
I know it is not everyones cup of tea, but I could not be happier. We have the first long weekend of summer and I'm out at Riding Mountain.
There are a few people here camping, but its pretty quite and I don't have a direct neighbour at this point (10:00 pm) which is kind of nice.
And I don't know what it is, but food is just amazing when you get down to basics and cook up a simple meal.

Alumni Celebration honors two alumni with awards: Jason T. Cone '99 receives the Alumni Citation and Jennifer Stuart '09 receives the GOLD award. Also, check presentations by the 5th, 25th and 50th reunion classes as well as the presentation of the President's Cup.
The Whitby Goth Weekend began in 1994, Over 8,000 visitors descend on the small North Yorkshire fishing town each year for this bi-annual event which takes place in April and at Halloween for a weekend of shopping drinking and dancing.
