VIEW ON BLACK!

So this is the end result of a project that has lasted a whole year. I am super glad I did a 52 weeks project because I feel like it has really helped me step up my game a bit. I have become so inspired by so many of you here on flickr its almost overwhelming. You are all so inspiring and I love all of you so much. I tagged my main inspirations on this photo. I hope to meet you guys one day.

I have changed so much this past year. It never ceases to amaze me how much happens in 52 weeks.

-I finished my freshman year of college.

-Got a job

-Got a Mark II

-made a tumblr

-made so many wonderful friends

-got an apartment with two amazing people for next year

-learned to find happiness within myself

-learned to not rely on anyone for anything

-painted my room

-got my first tattoo

and I'm sure much more I can't think of right now haha.

I also just wanted to thank all of you who follow my work. I love you guys. I read all of your comments all the time and they completely change the way I think about myself at that moment. All I can say is <3

I will be uploading regularly so stay tuned!

much love,

-Jared T

I started this project exactly half a year ago. I’m sad that the time passed so fast and happy because there’s another 26 weeks left.

in twenty six weeks...

... I will be 20 and it will be okay.

... I will be done with school for good.

... I will be able to not care about what others think.

... I will be content with who I am.

... I will know what I want to achieve.

... I will be happy.

as for last week, I spent my time on studying ethics and french and realizing how bad I really am at maths.

and I noticed how much I love spending my time with the people I got to know at school. I am incredibly happy I changed schools in 10th grade. I had so many problems and I don’t have any of them anymore. I am grateful for the people I have around me and I enjoy random moments with them so much. sometimes I just remember what that change did to me. and I know it was the best decision I have ever made.

I would have liked to get a bit closer to the water but I figured I was already pretty close to if not standing on ice with water running underneath me. It was so peaceful up there. Just me and the girls no other tracks. Beautiful location, I can't wait for spring.

Have a great week my friends.

This sign is at the top of the walkway where I go to do stairs. There are 106 steps up and then down again I go! So pretty this time of year!

this took me the longest it has ever taken me to finish a concept edting wise and I guess this is the very first upload on my entire stream I'm actually fully happy with and, which is even more important, even a little proud of. we were shooting out in the woods yesterday after a day of a series of enormous thunder, mosquitos were nailing us and we were soaked when we got back, haha. but it was tons of fun :) we even found a tiny frog, check the comments ;)

if I had to list all the inspirations for this shot the list would quite possibly never end. the main ones are a recent dream of mine and the heartbreaking Disney quote above, though. every time his words come to my mind I tell myself that I will never end up not believing in magic and the extraordinary because its them which make life so much more interesting. it feels like I've always had a vivid imagination so I'm not actually worried :) even though the reference might not be obvious, I had the story of Little Red Riding Hood in my head when creating this which used to be one of my favorite fairy tales when growing up. I wish I'd had a red cape (I'd go crazy, I think :D).

feedback is always appreciated, enjoy the rest of the weekend! :)

We've had some beautiful summer weather these past few weeks, perfect for evening walks along the shore. The sea kale is in bloom and looks very pretty.

Have you ever had one of those weeks when nothing really gelled? That was this week for me. For some reason, the prompt "pattern" really stumped me. This is the best shot I got and it's not good, but at least it fills the bill. There are a number of patterns here. the pattern of the curve, the pattern of the window panes and the pattern of the curtain. I may try a redo this week. Hoping for some sun.

When I woke up I was so tired to take a picture of something. I just bought a new coffee so I decided to take a picture of it. But I was still too tired so this one is second cup of my morning coffee :)

This week's theme suits me perfectly except the weather is cloudy and yucky. Not much luck finding my eagle friends with all the open water, but I did find these two along the Wisconsin River in Sauk.
