This week's brief was Candy (Sweets), without taking taking photographs of sweets themselves.

New Year’s resolution comes into play, and for all of us, there’s always room to improve our photography. This year I commit myself to 52 weeks project to improve my photography skills. Wish me luck :)
This one is for my little brother .............
I would like to call you today and tell you that I love you. But your old number is no longer active. I tried the operator.... said that he was sorry but that number does not exist. I tried to go to your home but you not live there anymore. The post office claimed that your address not exist ... probably because HEAVEN is too far. I love you and miss so much...you will be forever in my heart!
Beginning of Week 3 of my Healthier Lifestyle, involving more exercise and fresh air and here's where I am at.
Day 1 - no exercise (exhausted)
Day 2 - marathon walk, including a pit stop for 2 of the most delicious caesars I've ever drank
Day 3 -another marathon walk, including antiquing & a caesar (not as noteworthy as the previous days
Day 4 - water aerobics (could feel muscles, I didn't even know existed)
Day 5 - dragged my tired body to swim lengths - swam 7 lengths & the pool was evacuated due to vomit (not mine)
Day 6 - desperately needed a break
Day 7 - craved the exercise, but couldn't find the time
Having a lot of trouble keeping up the 'exercise 6 days a week' plan. I managed 4 days this week, one shy of last week. Partially as I think I overdid the exercise early in the week and partially cause my life is busy and I am resisting the 6 am workout.
I do think the exercise is starting to show though. I seems to me that my love handles are slowly disappearing. This could all be in my imagination though. I am also now craving exercise and am not satisfied unless I get it.
Oh and I managed to cut out the late night eating in favour of cocoa.
well, i had planned to take my week 4 pic at the cabin but silly me forgot to pack my lens :( so yesterday me and slaine braved the weather and headed on to the moors for some windy pics ha :) my hair seems to go a bit mental in the wind, at one point i thought it was trying to kill me, wrapped round my face and i almost fell.....
had a very relaxing week off saw a cute runaway baby cow run past our cabin, luckily they mananged to get it back safe :)
my week off didnt stop the weird thoughts popping in my head ;)
topics of conversation were: do you ever see siamese twin snails?!, cavemen, dinosaurs, giving birth to eggs, and that owl that forced me to order takeaway..... erm theres probably a good reason why i own a strait jacket hehe :)
went to see my nanny on friday with my sister nem, had a good giggle :) although the hat i was wearing kept pushing down on my eyebrows, trying to make me frown.... dont worry, i fought against it ;)
the zip on my boot broke what the hell am i supposed to wear when they go in for repair?! :(
Painting project with my Granddaughter Aleyna. The Roots are grandparent handprints and the Leaves are the grandchildren's handprints. This is not a current photo because I'm very busy choosing all the finishes for my remodel project. This obviously is not a mirror image but I like its symmetry.

Theme of The Week - Channeling Vivian Maier
if life gets in the way of your plans,
forget about them and just live it.
that's what I did this week. I had fun, I was hardly ever at home and I enjoyed it.
I spent time with Nina and the other day we went shopping and then she came over again in the evening and I went to the open air pool with others and in the evening we made cocktails and I think I made new friends. this was a good week full of life and without paying attention to my to do list.

Theme Of The - Fisheye
I have a fish-eye lens somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it because 3/4 of the stuff from my basement is upstairs due to the waterproofing project.
I was up in Alton yesterday to look through the antique shops. This was taken through a large peep-hole in the back door of one of the shops.
I joined a 52 weeks challenge from a local Blythe group :)
Week 1 Selfportrait
Not everyone likes to look in the mirror, some people rather look away...

Golden Week (ゴールデンウィーク), also known as Ōgata renkyū (大型連休 ) or Ōgon shūkan (黄金週間), is a Japanese term applied to the period containing the following public holidays:
April 29 - Shōwa Day (昭和の日)
May 3 - Constitution Memorial Day (憲法記念日)
May 4 - Greenery Day (みどりの日)
May 5 - Children's Day (こどもの日)
In short the Country basically takes the whole week off to go someplace. We're no exception as we headed out in the RV to Chiba for a lot of fun in the sun!
Non-HDR shot of Austin playing on a rope gym thingy at a large amusement park in Chiba.
Chiba, Japan.
Okay, so for this week I used a disposable camera to take pictures while I was working with inner city kids in Cincinnati. This isn't what you guys are probably used to from me, I am definitely not a journalistic photographer. Really I just spent my time enjoying myself and letting the kids have a good time. This collage is just intended to show my week. All of these were taken by me except for the two of me. I promise more photos this next week, because I'm actually in town.
As I do not have a pet of my own, I stood at the street corner and asked some passers-by if I could photograph their dogs. "Only the dog?" they would ask and agree when I said yes.
The first one was a four month old bull-dog puppy; I know there are many breeds that have a bull-dog face but within my limited knowledge, for me they are all bull-dogs. Lovely animal, seemed scared, having been taken away from its mummy and siblings at such an early age.
Then there came a lady with two poodles who made the same question, and I took more than 10 photos, not one worth looking at.
I had made a mistake. To fill the frame with the dogs, I had come out with an 85 mm lens. Imagine my ordeal to keep the dogs eyes in focus.
Then there were a very nice mother-daughter, each one with a dog and a lady with a poodle. The young girl had a very sensitive looking, really shy dog that was always looking the other way, and the mother´s was an old one who came in between, trying to protect the shy friend.
And the poodle in this group; I decided I am not a good poodle photographer.

May 06 - May 12
Spring is finally here and the whitewater rafting season has started!!
In summer time I work as a rafting guide as well and I had two trips to run this week, so I went to Hokkaido Outdoor Adventures (HOA) which is a rafting company I work for.
This company is located in the place called Hidaka where is surrounded by full of nature.
Right behind the company there is a river called Saru river and that is where I took this shot.
I love rivers and I don't get bored just looking at the water how it flows and especially this time of the day.
It was such great trips, the water was high and weather was the warmest for this year.
I can't wait for Summer!!!
I hope you also had a wicked week!
If you are interested....

We've seen many of these dragonflies when we went down to the small stream in my village. They are so beautiful.
In a slightly odd order, because when I came to create it I realised I'd missed two shots from the set.
Onwards to another 52 weeks of 2015!
I would like to read more this year. I love books and reading, but really didn't do much reading in 2015. I love History and have a lot of Non-Fiction history books and Historical Fiction books. I am going to start 2016 with David McCullough's The Wright Brothers.
