Had plans for something else but as usual time got away from me so here is Tilt in a Tunnel (don't worry I wasn't driving).

Here in Week 6 of Be Still 52 I spent more time experimenting with side light...this time with bright afternoon light on the porch from the left and using a black foam core on the right. I am definitely out of my comfort zone using Kim's "darkmood" LR preset but I am happy with the results after a little tweaking and it has nurtured my creativity:) For props, I raided the garden shed but ended up with removing many of the props....simple was definitely best.

Took advantage of the fantastic weather to blend 3 images from sunset, dusk and twilight along the Thames last night. All taken with a tripod in exactly the same position.

I went out for a bit of shopping and had a waffle with cherries and ice cream and a hot chocolate.

Sorry guys, this one is out of topic. This is a picture of "le prisonnier" of V. Van Gogh, fondation Louis Vuitton, collection Morozov

Year X Week 34 18-25/8/19

Another from Phu Quoc. This time it's from the world's longest cable car. This was from above one of the islands that the cable car crosses. This lone fishing boat, with the fisherman on board (if you look closely enough), thought it would make for a great tilt-shift shot. More soon.

La pluie fait des claquettes

Sur le trottoir à minuit

Parfois je m'y arrête

Je l'admire, j'applaudis

Je suis son chapeau claque

Son queue-de-pie vertical

Son sourire de nacre

Sa pointure de cristal

....

Bip, bip, bip, ..., la pluie

....

A force de rasades

De tournées des grands ducs

Je flotte en nos gambades

La pluie perd tout son suc

Quittons-nous dis-je c'est l'heure

Et voici mon îlot

Salut, pourquoi tu pleures

Parce que je t'aime, salaud

Bip, bip, bip, ...Nougaro

Week No: 4 Theme: A Study in the Color Yellow

Grabbed some toys in the classroom and threw them in bin for this one.

Week 42 (v 9.0) - troubling times

One comes to the realization that the friends you thought were your actual friends aren't as true as the ones who have been by your side because you didn't realize that your true friends have always been by your side.

Thought it was pretty cool to see the leaves all frozen in our birdbath in the front of our house. Looked so pretty!

A cold snap has finally arrived. Being the start of February, that is not so bad. I'm not thrilled with it, but, it could have happened much sooner and more often.

you can't get out of this skin

My week was good in general except some health problems and I finally managed to go out more to take photos. On Friday I was at a concert and I can say it was great. Wonderful things start to happen again, like getting to know amazing human beings.

My submission for week 34 Teleidoscope: Elements. It is a day late because I, frankly, just couldn't think of anything original to create for it.

Love the how this dreamy light hits her delicate curls and creates that sweet profile.
