Here is a picture of some of the wedding jar fairies I made for the bridal party and the bride for an extra something special.
I now will be making jar fairy party event favors, I just received 2 orders yesterday. These can be special ordered and customized by me. When ordering in bulk, I can apply discounts.

Absolutely perfect! A vintage 1970's ivory wedding dress in perfect condition, complete with headpiece and veil!
This stunning gown features re-embroidered Alencon lace on the empire bodice, long snap-up Victorian cuffs and the headpiece. The flounce at the bottom of the skirt and the edging of the veil are gorgeous ivory Venice lace. The dress is a voile over a beautiful heavy taffeta. The seams are not finished, but they are not frayed at all. There are 3 buttons and loops for a bustle after your wedding is over. (Please note that there are hooks that close the collar in back, but we didn't get them done up for photo 4.)
There is no manufacturer's or care tag, but a red, white and blue ILGWU tag and a maker's tag for the order, stating it is a size 14. Remember vintage runs small, so I would guess this would fit a size 12. I can convo tag pics if you want, but I wanted to get as many pics of the dress up as I could.
The headpiece is gorgeous! Its Alencon lace panels are separated by seed pearl roping and it is in perfect condition, as is the tulle veil! The veil is 44 inches (1.13 m) long and 72 inches (1.8 m) wide. The original full size comb is there to hold it in your hair.
The front of the gown is 60 inches (1.52 m) long from the shoulder seam to the hem. The train extends 36 inches (91.5 cm) from where it hits the ground.
The following measurements are taken flat, from side to side, so they need to be doubled for around the body measurements.
It measures
19 inches (48.3 cm) at the bustline,
15 inches (38 cm) at the HIGH waist (above natural waist).
My size 10 model is 5 feet 7 inches (1.71 m) tall.
Her measurements are
bust - 36 inches (91.3 cm),
waist – 29 inches (73.8 cm) and
hips – 39 inches (99 cm).

I helped a friend shoot a wedding this morning. Everyone was incredibly lovely and it was a beautiful church wedding. (I almost cried during one part!) :) {A few more below}

Most Japanese weddings take place at Shinto Shrines. One the wedding day the bride is painted from head to toe in white as a statement of her maidenhood. The bride wears a white kimono and elaborate headpiece to hide her "horns of jealousy:" from the groom’s mother, who becomes the head of her family. A Japanese groom dresses in a black kimono. While the bride and groom exchange vows the two families face each other and not the bride and groom. One of the central moment of the Japanese wedding ceremony is when the bride and groom drink nine cups of sake, after which they are officially declared man and wife. The families also drink sake to symbolize the joining of the two families. At the end of the ceremony the father of the groom and the bride introduce their family members.
At the wedding reception the bride changes into a red kimono, and at some wedding a Western style white wedding dress. The wedding guest play games, skits, and sometimes karaoke at the wedding reception. Guest are expected to offer the couple "goshugi"(money). Most Japanese weddings take place in the Spring or Fall, because of the good weather. Some days are consider luckier to get married on than other. Good grief, my wedding ring is scratched and filthy in macro. It looks so pretty when you're not this close. It isn't my original wedding ring, which broke whilst on holiday in 2006. I still have that one, which means a lot to me, but hubby bought me this new one whilst we were away.

A reedit of a wedding I was at a while back. It was a a good while back I was using a D70. Just goes to show the old D70 had what it took. I took these after the pro photog had left for the evening. It was fun. It was like a photobooth.
