Weber plays an upright electric jazz bass. He makes use of various effects pedals to produce some incredible other worldly sounds. He played bass with Jan Garbarek's group. A gig at The Triangle Arts Centre, Aston, Birmingham . 1987 I think. The concert was spellbinding.

Those web were really interesting, you wouldn't usually notice them, but it was a very foggy and wet day… I liked how the grass background kind of echoed the finer web lines. For this photo I boosted the contrast to really highlight the web.
Sometimes I think I try to gather the light. To hold on to those days of most light for those times of most darkness. It is the natural order of things, the way life cycles. But I like the light.
Maybe we hold on to that light through people. Or maybe through those moments of sheer beauty in the little nook of the back patio where the spider sleeps.
