Spider webs glistening in the sunlight beside the Itchen Navigation Canal near Eastleigh in Hampshire
A spider's web, with the arachnid denizen clearly the master of all it surveys. The table is set, now it prowls the web waiting for dinner to drop in.
I've been given the job of redesigning the logo for our church. It's a long story, but our logo has always had 3 crosses in it, so the pastor told me I had to keep that. The first one is a literal play off the word "Hillside". The second is a more abstract option. The third is just kinda fun. By the way-we are located on Hillside Street (hence the name). The pahnandle of Texas, where we are located, has absolutely NO hills anywhere. This is my first round. Haven't really worked on type yet. Just trying to get a few solid icons first.
Drew and I just grabbed all the web books we could find and sat in a corner to go through them and put bookmarks in the ones that were really old - we found the HTML Goodies book on the shelves!
Most of the books we found were really old but there were a couple of more recent books that at least covered CSS such as the HTML4 book Visual Quickstart Guide here. We sneaked our bookmarks into the old books and popped them back on the shelves.
We did notice that there were up to date books covering Dreamweaver but not general web design/mark-up/CSS - I didn't see one CSS book on the shelves (maybe they were out - we'll have to make a return visit).
(blurry photo as I was trying not to attract attention from circling librarians)

I've never liked spiders but their webs can look dainty, especially after a rainy day.

...went up the water spout. Down came the rain and washed the spider out. Out came the sun and dried up all the rain, and the itsy bitsy spider spider went up the spout again.
A few problems with this classic nursery rhyme:
1. This photo was taken before the storm last night. I was hoping that the spider would still be there this morning (the pictures I got were right before the rain had started... it was quickly getting dark, so all the shots I got don't have as good of focus as I'd like). The web was demolished and the spider was MIA as of this morning. Boo-hoo :(
2. Itsy bitsy.......no.
First thing I saw as I parked my car at the woods. Only visible when the sun shone :)
I can see the image of a spider in the middle of this web... can you?
