Taken in the garden last week - before the never ending rain!

Happy Webnesday!

This was taken the day after a big rainstorm hit Fort Collins. 3-5 inches of rain per hour for a few hours. The next day brought lots of early morning fog, a rarity in this area.

FYI. In case you are wondering how an image can have so many views and little or no faves, it's because I changed my permission options once. I lost all my faves on 20 shots, and partial faves on a few others. Flickr glitch I guess.

My poor parents, caught in a web by their front door ;)

Just something i spotted late last night while cooling down in the garden.

I discovered three almost identical webs between the same trees this afternoon. When I went to look the mailbox, about an hour later, they were all three gone. They were way up in the air, so I didn't disturb them when I took photos....wonder why the spiders would take them down? Will have to keep an eye out and see if they come back to the same spots. Strange....

A Macro Mondays submission on the topic "Holes". A house spider has created a hole in its web, creating a tunnel leading to its home.

There were lots of tiny webs hanging from a hedge on my driveway this morning. They looked great in the morning dew.

Near Sperry, Oklahoma.
