Burlington Northern F7A 732 wears white flags for a somber occasion: the last run of a streamlined EMD "F-unit" locomotive on the railroad's Pacific Division. What began on predecessor Northern Pacific in 1941 is ending on July 29, 1979, as train #675, the Balmer-Centralia local, enters Auburn, Washington, where the train will pause as the 732 is removed and sent to the roundhouse for storage. The diesel shop at Auburn was built by for the first streamlined FT's, and since its opening the majority of locomotives assigned there for servicing have been the streamlined "F-units." To me, this photo sums up the BN of my teenage years: F-units and GP9's and lush green farm fields. Today, there's a triple-track CTC mainline here, the locomotives are far, far nevwer than the relics in this photograph, and mostof the land you see in this photo has been developed with warehouses.
The River Wear in North East England rises in the Pennines and flows eastwards, mostly through County Durham to the North Sea in the City of Sunderland. At 60 mi long, it is one of the region's longest rivers, wends in a steep valley through the cathedral city of Durham and gives its name to Weardale in its upper reach and Wearside by its mouth.

American Coot enjoying his alone time. They very much tend to gather in close packs in the middle of the lake on cold winter days seemingly to stay warm. Not unnoticed by a pair of eagles who constantly harass the group swooping in for a quick meal. The good news, I've yet to see them actually score a win.
Hello girls! I hope you’ve had a great celebration and I wish you a fantastic and complete 2009.
Thank you for your comments on my wig-s play day. It is amazing how the eye works when it comes to taste and views. People that know me prefer me in dark hair, others that don’t, like me in blond. I’ll post my personal views on each pic. Yet, I don’t like myself in blond whether is the no match make up, etc, but another thing is the hair style.
In this pic you see me with dark, medium length hair and this is something I wear very often. Mostly due to: it is human hair and heat is not an issue and the cap is hand tied which makes it much lighter and comfy. Yet, I don’t prefer this look, but everyone else does!
This was a muggy, extremely hot day. We reached the 3 digits and I felt like wearing a swimming suit, except, I don’t have a pool. Yet, I wore an unlined cotton/crochet skirt that was a delight to wear but my friends (it was lunch with my friends at my place) said: You can’t wear this skirt like that anywhere!!! You could see more than the imagination would draw. Yet, it’s comfy. We talked about the reasons not to wear something like that in public. All said: men! Then I added: well, I am, still am one! And my best friend responded: and I suspect that most of your TG friends do too! And we all laughed. Is it because...? Ain’t something funny? It amazes me how fast we can travel between testosterone and estrogen even among most PostOp TGs. Is it only a visual thing? As the famous words say “I don’t know, it’s a mystery.” Care to share your view?

I don't think you'll be seeing these two in formal business wear. For them business as usual is hoodie, cap and mobile. Sorted.
070/100 - 100 Possibilities Project - I grew up during the 70s and 80s when the transition moved from cotton to synthetics. One of results was a big push on wash and wear clothes. No more ironing. Yotsuba is trying out her clothes to see if they are wash and wear.

(I had already taken several photos of this photographer before he noticed, this is the shot of the moment he realized what I was doing. He said: "Whaaaat?"And I "Whaaat you? Not asking anything since it's half an hour you have been taking photos of my stuff displayed without asking the permission..."& he: "So sorry,I'm mortified, didn't know whom to ask for,may I,pls?"I answered: "Well, it's ok with me,upon condition I can shoot you."He accepted ;-)

I would like to introduce you to my Sony RX100. I think I've owned it for 5 years now. But for all that scratches it still works perfectly.
Darf ich Euch meine Sony RX100 vorstellen. Ich glaube ich besitze sie nun schon 5 Jahre. Sie funktioniert aber trotz der vielen Schrammen immer noch bestens.
