Harlan is another city that has its own wayfinding signs to local landmarks, with the city's logo above it. This example on IA 44 gives four destinations, with the distance sign using all-caps Futura as the font.

Over the past ten years or so, local cities have adopted wayfinding signage programs to direct visitors to local landmarks. Cedar Rapids adopted such a system by the summer of 2014, as this example on 1st Avenue heading toward downtown shows.

After taking these shots I spied a line of yellow double- deckers in the depot opposite this stop. They're ready to roll!

In January 2007 wayfinding signs like this one at 5th and Center Streets were placed at street corners to aid pedestrian traffic. The color scheme is similar to the other signs, with access points to the downtown skywalk system noted with red signs.
