Taken at Wybung Head in the Munmorah Recreation Area, New South Wales, Australia.

A fair swell was running at the time and lots of wash was running over the rocks below.

The top of Wybung Head would be at least 250 feet high with some step sides.

As always, thanks for any comments, views or favorites, they are much appreciated!

When storms are off the Florida coast, our waves become driving, and dangerous. These, seen near the jetty at Ponce Inlet, were coming in too close together for surfers to ride them, and hit the rocks with a force that caused 10-15 foot spashes of water!

This was at low tide, so you can imagine what they were like earlier in the day.

except in BC we call our winter winds, "storms," although the winds are in excess of 120 KPH today and we are promised this for the next three days.

PS All the little black spots are rocks and sticks.

Late afternoon draws the tradies out of their utes for a small wave before dinner off the National Park at Noosa Heads on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Australia.

Few days hiking in East, in the deserted coastal inlets between Borgarfjörður Eystri and the fjord of Seyðisfjörður (57 km).

A combination of mountains and ocean, you leave valleys and hike over the mountains... again, again and again... The mountains are glorious and they come in all shapes, sizes and colors. Hiking at the end of the world, sometimes above the clouds: magic!

Watching the typhoon swell roll in on the east coast of Korea. Raging seas are a pleasure to watch from the safety of the shore.

A veces los mejores días son los más tormentosos

It's such a powerful wave and he has to turn around. I just captured his head inside the big wave! Yes, if you see closely, you can see his eyes were still open:-)

Another wave crashing into the Fullerton Avenue revetment.

Or is it a mackeral sky?

Or both...
