A large storm the day before left choppy seas and awesome waves that grew bigger as the day progressed.
The tuna blaster and spinning the pink(you could not make these up could you ) has allowed a brief entrance again this evening . Big surf this morning - literally the wind changed just before 7 am and i had a quick 10 minutes before running off to get ready for work with the most beautiful waves and light. Getting to know a lot of the surfers/swimmers down there now - see the wee surfer on the far right of the shot ?.
As I may (or may not ;)) have said before Bronte is more of a village/community than Bondi which is like central station and the more you ignore people the cooler you are over there ;). Maybe now is the time to let you guys know how much I am loving it here ;))

I guess you can't tour Western Australia without going to Wave Rock. A lot of people had told us to be prepared to be underwhelmed. I think they were wrong, it was definitely worth the long drive to see it.
As always, your faves and comments are appreciated. Constructive criticism and suggestions are especially welcome as I believe they help to make me a better photographer. Thank you for taking the time to look at my photos.

Back home with the head full of impressions.
Waves are so wonderful. If I had the sea near by my side it would be another passion from me to photograph waves in all their beauty. They are so emotional as humans, so merciless, wild, but also gentle, smooth and sweet. What a passion and luck to live at the sea!
Soundtrack: The Köln Concert, Part II C by Keith Jarrett 1975
Please have a look to my other account if you are also emotional, merciless, wild but gentle, smooth and sweet...

„Warning“: I love to create different moods with photograpy, words and music. So I often take such intensifier. It has no causal connection to my personal situation or the state of my mental health or mood. I‘m just a creatcher of moods. The most of you know, that it is an absolute pleasure for me to play with emotions, words, poems, sunset- and lake moods to transfer feelings or a special atmosphere. Do not discuss about me, just enjoy or ignore the text and please talk about photography. Thank you!
Surf was smaller today at Papohaku Beach but still interesting. - Island of Molokai (Hawaiian Islands)

These back-lit waves give off a rather pleasing halo effect. This is an older photo than the other recent posts, it's before the lighthouse had been renovated.
High surf advisory at Wai'anapanapa, famous for its black sand beach. The black sand comes from massive black lava flows in one or more eruptions of Haleakala.
Thanks, as always, for stopping by and for all of your kind comments -- I appreciate them all.
