Monte Gelato, waterfalls.

I arrived at this waterfall to find an early teen photographer accompanied by his mother. I thought that this was incredibly cool. His mom was just chilling while her son was working the scene. Props to his mother for all of the support and patience that she was giving her son who was clearly in love with being behind the camera. It was one of the best things I’ve witnessed so far while out taking shots

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY AND SUCCESSFUL 2017 TO EVERYONE
The photo above is another example of prime locations for butterflies and insects in Thailand. A little way downstream from any waterfall you will usually find a variety of butterflies puddling on the shore of the river or stream.
Wachiratharn Waterfall is one of the larger falls on Doi Inthanon, Thailands highest national park.
I'LL BE BACK NEXT WEEK WITH MORE INSECT PICS. HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THEN BUT MEANTIME HAVE A GREAT XMAS.
This waterfall is in Storrington, Sussex. The sun was shining on the top part of the water so I had to use a filter. On this photo I used a long exposure to make the water more milky. I would like to go back at some point when the sun is in a different position in the sky.
Just a little waterfall by comparison to many but pretty just the same. I wish I had my tripod with me.

During my latest Black sea region trip, after a long, narrow and exhausting road we have managed to arrive the waterfall Palovit. With the amount of water in the air and the rainbow due to the sunshine reflection I was extremely thrilled with the amazing view. I was really lucky to have the beautiful sunshine when I was shooting the waterfall.
An unbelievable noisy echo down in the waterfall gap was giving a further stress to block you to fine-tune the right camera settings. I used a small tripod with Lee 10stop Filter under 20mm single focus lens. I hope you will like. Thank you for visiting and making comments, faves.
Information for the waterfall and the area:
Palovit Waterfall is near the Camlihemsin district of Rize province in the Black Sea region, Turkey. The waterfall can be found in Kackar Mountains National Park, in one of Turkey's most beautiful valleys.

El vicio es una hirviente catarata
que rauda se desata
y en el oscuro abismo se despeña;
y al mirar su diadema de brillantes,
su luz y sus cambiantes,
el alma, alguna vez, suspira y sueña.

We came across the waterfall below Tarn Hows in rainy weather and had it totally to ourselves - magic!
The Goðafoss waterfall is one of the more spectacular waterfalls in Iceland. The water of the river Skjálfandafljót falls from a height of 12 meters over a width of 30 meters.
In the year 1000 the Lawspeaker Þorgeir Ljósvetningagoði made Christianity the official religion of Iceland. After his conversion Þorgeir threw his statues of the Norse gods into the waterfall.
Thank you for taking time to view my work. I'm very grateful for any comments and favorites.

Gljufurarbui waterfall was an interesting place to shoot. It is very misty and slippery inside the hidden canyon. I covered my camera with a shower cap to keep the mist off of it, but it made it harder to see through the viewfinder. Also had to keep wiping the lens off, wipe shoot, wipe shoot, made things interesting. I'm just happy I was able to come away with something.
