I wasn't expecting snow when I woke up but was pleasantly surprised. With everything covered in a small layer of snow but with bleak overcast clouds, I decided to go to waterfall glen to see how it looked.
The snow was falling off the branches every seconds and quickly melting off the foreground rocks so I tried to move quickly. As I look outside now, it doesn't even look like it snowed at all.
Waterfall Glen, DuPage County.
Hvitserkur, Ísland
After scrambling down the slope near the Hvitserkur Troll, I discovered this small waterfall, much more gracefully descending the same slope.
I liked the lone seagull up there, using the rock outcropping as its perch...

There is a lovely man-made lagoon and waterfall at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
It was high noon, so very bright and I had no polarizing filter or 3-stop darkening filter to blur the water. So I put the aperture opening as small as possible, f/40, and then slowed the shutter speed to 1/13th of a second while I propped my lens on a rail fence for stability and sharpness. I was fairly happy with the result, though the water could be dreamier with a slower shutter speed...
Nice to go for a wander and find a little waterfall. This is the stream that flows into Riding Wood Reservoir.

For the first time in years I pointed my camera at things that aren't feathered, furred or scaled. A good day out in Brecon with Mark Eggleton today. Nice to bump into Martin Dolan too.
The 2nd day of my journey:
due to the relief in iceland every river or waterstream becomes a waterfall at the edge of the mountains. Some of them are as stunning as this one.Furthermore the weather canges soo quick. i was lucky to be able to capture one of these changes. The sun hitting only the background completely, the wing blowing around the water of the waterfall. Hope u like it as much as i do
Waterfall sušec is located just a few minutes from the old part of town of Ilirska Bistrica. It only appears after heavy rainfall and quicky dries out during dry season. This year was very generous with rain and therefore this place more than delivered its true beauty.
Pontneddfechan Waterfall's Brecon Beacons National Park, it has been on my places to vist for a long time a little out of my comfort zone when it comes to shooting moving objects

Sunrise at Bamburgh Castle a few weeks ago. Then we headed to Routin Linn before heading home with Alex Bell.
The weather finally cleared so we were able to get out in the forest.
This waterfall is upstream in Monbachtal park in Germany. It had recently reopened after winter and fallen trees were everywhere.
Shot taken with a Lee Polarizer and long exposure.
I hope you enjoy it.

As some of you may or may not know, I recently took a week trip to Iceland with my good friend Taylor. In need of a little inspiration as well as some travel before getting back to grad school this fall, Iceland seemed like the perfect place to cure my low-inspiration woes.
And that it did, and then some. There's a reason tourists are flocking to Iceland more and more. This island contains some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, with mountains, waterfalls, rivers, coastal lines, tundra, and more. Everywhere you look, it's like another scene from a movie or the best dream you've ever had.
Needless to say, I found the inspiration and beauty I was looking for. As someone who shoots minimally, I've returned from this trip with over 1000 photos... and I couldn't be more excited to start digging through them!
Enjoy!
