Purple Coral Pea Flowers
Looks like a "Big Bird" in Sesame Street to me ^^
The flowers are actually very tiny.
Comparison with a bee as below.
You could say the bee is ginormous.
That's how you look at.

Macro Monday: Watch
This watch stood on my great-grandmother's night table for as long as I could remember, on her old miniature armchair. It's now in my parents' bookshelf, and it's a precious memory of long evenings talking with her.
Another capture of this beautiful Female Barn Owl taken early evening one of these days I'm hoping she will fly to the post with her evening catch.

Red Shouldered Hawk on the bat-house. He looks like a sentry soldier on watch, but I imagine he is on the hunt for his next meal.

This is my entry for Macro Mondays this week.
Theme: (Watch)
I found one of my old watches languishing in a forgotten draw in a cupboard.
So I dusted it off and tried to be creative using some colourful leaves as a background.
I photographed this macro outside in the nice weather using a mirror.
[Time]
That was then, this is now
time flies past like I don't know how ....
If you blink, then it's gone
flying past like a scalded swan ....
So if this is now, and that was then,
well, I'm getting old like a fountain pen ....

Whale-watching boat tour dog, Mac on top of the Catamaran.
Daily Dog Challenge: Red
Mac's definitely a 'red-head'.
A usual place to spot a heron on one of the ponds on Bookham Common , there used to be loads of heron about . However , I am not so sure if the heronry is still there , it used to be be so noisy when the youngsters were being brought up . Anyway , back to this one , if it hasn't already eaten the all the residents of the pond he is still hopeful of any passing lunch !!
