Another shot of the daisies in the unmowed lawn. I'm trying to see how many totally different shots I can get of these little flowers...

a heron in the morning sun after a cold frosty night ..... ein Graureiher beobachtet die Weiher ...... ich hatte schon gerechtet damit, einen Graureiher oder Silberreiher anzutreffen und habe deshalb bei meiner Gassirunde das 150-600 mitgeschleppt .....
You are looking at a handwound 17-jewel pocket watch movement in a dead cheap "Polaris" pocket watch from the Yantai Watch & Clock Factory.
These watches were sold for the breathtaking amount of 75 CNY (equals about 10.40 EUR or 11.76 USD) as souvenirs at the Yantai Watch & Clock Museum.

He is just watching the time go by, it was a great afternoon and the sun was getting ready to start setting.
Much less processed than you might think, it was taken at twilight with available light. I was once again in a car in Manhattan waiting for the Holland Tunnel, and I looked up and saw this lone solitary visitor from who knows where, staring down on us from a second floor window, apparently keeping a silent but intense vigil, watching for who knows what.
Vas'ka the cat is watching the garden sitting on the refrigerator.
Better to see in bigger size!
Thank you all for visits, favs and comments, it's greatly appreciated!
Brown Bear (ursus arctos) named "Scout" watching ravens flying above his yard. The brown bear subspecies from the interior of North America (like Scout and his brother Montana) are known as grizzly bears, because their brown fur is tipped with white or tan; the word grizzly means sprinkled or streaked with gray. Conservation status: least concern
