I knew the neighbours washing would liven up the shot, but did not expect this.....for the record, colours have not been adjusted!

Floris has quite a job to wash all that long hair. But he is also washing the others,On the second shot he is helping Jasmijn.

Housing along the khlongs in Bangkok is usually pretty rudimentary. I imagine that they are pretty unpleasant places to be located as many of them have an indescribable smell

Not all the lake was brightly colored under the clouds as the upper seemed to be more murky as tree branches floated away in the current.

... for the Chinese New Year celebrations in Yangon.

I planned to alternate photographs of tigers and various bays of Primorye. While I was processing photographs of tabby cats, I realized a seemingly obvious thing. Photographing animals is much more difficult than landscapes. You literally have to crawl with a bulky and heavy lens, and the result of this adventure is completely uncertain. The beast may simply not appear where you expect it. And if the animal still deigns to show itself, then you simply start shooting in series, watching it through the viewfinder. Without thinking much about the composition, you rely on your photographic equipment, because at any moment the animal can leave. And if you managed to photograph an animal, then processing such photographs is a pleasure, not only from the point of view of the process itself, but also the emotions experienced anew. Perhaps all these difficulties of photographing animals will fade into the background as you gain experience. I want to believe it. But with a tiger, everything is like with people; after sleep you should wash your face.
