...i came upon this old tire during a stroll along the seacoast at Odiorne State Park located in Rye, NH...interestingly, the tire looks to belong to a old jalopy...unfortunately, there were no markings available but did have plenty of barnacle growth and plenty of rust...junk or beauty...you decide...

My girlfriend and I went to see the sunrise that morning. Just before we were about to leave, she went to the shore to wash off the sand. I snuck up on her and captured a few shots

I'm sure there are deadlines to meet, but using a warm jet wash on cold roof tiles in the snow, must risk tiles breaking?

A couple mile long canyon which is only 15 feet wide in places is located in Capital Reef National Park. The wash, which provides passage through uplifted rock mountains known as a "reef", has a colorful history. It provided passage for Mormon settler wagons as well as safe haven for outlaws such as Butch Cassidy.

A recently dry wash in Hagen Canyon, Red Rock Canyon State Park, CA. I missed the wet part of the storm by several hours. Often that's all it takes for a sandy wash to go dry in the desert.

I'm excited to be heading into cooler weather so I can return to exploring the Mojave desert again.

One of my favourite sunset shots from my holiday in Eastbourne earlier this year.

I always had the pier down for sunrise but that evening the sunset delivered big time

With a 3 metre swell running there was no shortage of water this sunrise at North Curl Curl pool, on the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia.

View On Black WASH 'DEM HANDS!

These are dilapidated hand washing basins. We still use these at my work and when people use them the people look like farm animals gathered 'round a trough.

I am gradually releasing these photos until the end of May. There are about 26 total.

One last view of this beauty.

Yet another shot from Ice Beach. What can I say this place is magical. There are so many opportunities here I could spend days photographing along the beach trying different techniques. For this shot, I used a slow shutter speed as the wave came into the shore. The white wash surrounded the iceberg and completely covered the black sand creating soft streaks as if it was a watercolor painting.

Looks like this little Gold Ctowned Sparrow has had a fill of fresh green buds.

The sea was very stormy this morning so I decided it would be interesting to try and photograph the waves at high tide. I decided to head to the south pier as the sun was going down and found the huge sea was pounding the walls and throwing waves high into the air. This is one of my favourite shots looking north along the pier as a wave washes over it.

The Grand Wash in Capitol Reef NP.

Two perspectives of the most popular hike in the park, the Grand Wash. The shot from above is an offshoot trail from the Grand Wash to Cassidy Arch.

I was hoping to get out and do some Spring shots but the last few days have been blustery as all heck.

This quaint wash area is at Jo's Inato, a family restaurant (i.e. Gerry's, Dencio's, etc) we discovered while in Cebu.

I photographed this door and wash in the little walled village of Monteriggioni near Sienna. The walls there were of so many different materials, having been repaired and added on to over the centuries that the texture was bewildering. The figure was my invention.

Another long exposure shot of the pier in Blankenberge. I absolutely love the colors in this picture.
