This was in August but it might be the same now as we didn't have rain since...

C'était en août, mais il se peut que ce soit la même chose maintenant, car nous n'avons pas eu de pluie depuis...

Following yesterdays sunrise shoot at Eastbourne, I wasn't entirely happy with the shot I posted. I didn't feel comfortable getting closer to the pier due to crowds of party goers... Although this image was shot at the same point, the light was better and I'm happier with the overall exposure.

Warning Shots is by the Thievery Corporation and was a befitting soundtrack for the present company....

Red flag is high hazard meaning high surf and/or strong currents. (full moon time)

The beach warning flag program uses the colors adopted by the International Lifesaving Federation, with symbols added to clarify the meaning of the flags. The program also includes the placement of interpretive signs along the beach to explain the meaning each flag used in the warning system.

In the days before we had a"nanny state",

Old sign on hill in North Wales.

Thank you for viewing, faving or commenting on my images, have a great day!

This Sweet Grass to Great Falls H-train was about the only thing happening in this lonely area of the state as they hustle through an S-curve between Kevin and Sunburst on the Sweet Grass sub. In the back are the Sweet Grass Hills, a prominent landmark in the prairie landscape, and can be seen for miles in all directions.

Our little backyard lorikeet friend was giving me fair warning that he didn't like that zoom lens pointed at him and he was about take off. I'm glad he stayed around for just a few more seconds.

For the Group A Cautionary Tale. I went in my kitchen and found this one. I'll try to find better ones, but I wanted to find something to add to the group and this was the best I could find right now! I promise I'll do better with the next one!

I suggest we

Learn to love ourselves,

Before its made illegal

When will we learn, When will we change?

Just in time to see it all come down

Those left standing will make millions

Writing books on ways it should have been

Floating in this cosmic Jacuzzi

Here we are like frogs oblivious

To the water starting to boil,

No one flinches and we all float face down...

She woke in the morning.

She knew that her life had passed her by

She called out a warning.

Don't ever let life pass you by.

Despite my best stalking skills (which are rubbish it seems!) this blue heron was letting me know that I'd approached near enough with a short, sharp warning cry. Moments later this magnificent bird took to the air as it obviously saw me as a potential threat.

This year we had a very warm and long fall. Leaves and colors still hang around and there is no sign of early winter. Thankfully.

I decided to visit a little enclave of nature in the old quarry. Ducks frequent it and there are few resident beavers chomping happily at the nearby trees. But this morning was chilly and fog laid low over the meadow. A warning: enjoy the last moments of the warm weather. Inevitable cold is coming.

It’s extremely hot and rainless to barely have chance to survival for woods. Scary posture indicated that Nature’s silent protest and indignation. Thank you for visit.
