ok now i've the "EvoX" from lelutka. I wanted to test how I could make it more ... gothic and dark. While the EvoX is not yet in the habit. Well I think I was a bit successful. What do you think?

When we want to see a Turkey Vulture we usually look skyward where they can be seen soaring in wobbly circles riding the thermal currents with their wings raised in a shallow "V" position searching the ground for dead carcasses.

They have an extremely keen sense of smell necessary to locate carrion since the section of their brain that processes odors is so very large. Because they seem to readily accept humans they are often seen hunting roadsides, landfill sites and farmers fields.

The stomach acid of these birds is so acidic they are capable of digesting almost anything. Their practice of cleaning up carcasses helps us to keep a healthy ecosystem for if the carcasses were left to accumulate and rot diseases would be allowed to spread. They can digest carcasses tainted with rabies, tuberculosis and anthrax without getting sick.

The astonishing fact is this species that stands 2.5 feet tall with a wingspread of 6 feet weighs only about 3 pounds.

I’ve wanted to build a sci-fi city again since I tore down Undiri, but it took me five days to disassemble and sort my Brickworld ships as well as the other pieces that I brought with me. That’s FIVE days, my fellow FOLs. I’m sure some have taken more time, but it’s the most I’ve ever had to devote to sorting, and as soon as I was done, I swore off LEGO forever…or about ten minutes, whichever came first.

I went after the city in the same night that I finished my sorting and decided quickly that I was going to build something that wouldn’t take the better part of a week to disassemble, while sacrificing as little in the way of form and detail as possible. This is my first attempt at mountains, as well as any kind of landscaping. The scale is much smaller than anything I’ve done to date. So there were many firsts for me here. All things considered, I’m actually pretty pleased with the results.

I approached the staff at the hotel where I was staying and told them that I wanted to photograph the sand dunes of the Thar desert at sunrise and sunset. They assigned a very special young man to help me complete the task.

We were up the following morning and he and one of the other staff showed me to a 4 wheel vehicle and we were off. We rode for awhile until the dunes came into sight. "Okay I thought we are going to plow over the dunes in this vehicle. What fun!"

Instead we got out of the vehicle and walked to a camel with a sled like device behind it. They showed how to climb on board and this is how I shot the images that will follow. One has to have a steady hand and a very padded "bottom"to endure the abuse from the wooden device. A sled made the tracks that you saw in the previous photo.
