An Adventure Wellington Meet Up Group outing. Tim, a born-and-bred Wellingtonian showed a group of ten of us around and through the hidden lanes and some un-noticed parts of the city. We had a fabulous time seeing shops, buildings, alleys; learning some history and getting to know fellow group members. We had a fabulous lunch and finished with beers at the Southern Cross.

We spent a happy couple of hours sitting just watching the people as it was lunchtime before the afternoon siesta when we arrived. It got very busy then they all disappeared.
Very nice house white wine served by the glass - I had a couple of those and a few tapas to keep me going until dinner.
Traditional Tapas bar with outside seating at the entrance as well as in the street on the other entrance.
Stunning restaurant inside too.

On the edge of the old town of Cambrils past the bus station on the left of the riverbed heading inland from the seafront.
A different route today when we took our dog, Ruby out for a walk.... We headed to the end of Hackensall Road and through the woods via the footpath behind the houses on the left of the road. Some lovely bluebells were spotted as well as a number of fallen trees.

Our hotel has several pools and it's All Inclusive as we're definitely planning some rest and relaxation on this trip.
However, that doesn't mean we will vegetate with our backsides planted on a sunlounger for the duration of our Tunisian short break.
