Mobile shots of Reus on the hoof as we made our way around the city from the central bus station, returning back via the plaza behind the cathedral where a Confirmation ceremony was taking place.

It's where it all begins - head past the Torre to the river bed, cross the bridge and keep going inland, you will reach the old town as long as you keep the riverbed on your right side.

Tip: once you get past the main bus station you can't miss it - just dive in and explore!

27-04-2017 with a high tide of 10.28m with a wind behind caused a stir down at the Knott End Ferry jetty today. The staff at Knott End Cafe were watching from the windows on the crossing of the "Wyre Rose" which followed this one too!

As we headed back towards the main tourist area, ready for our bus journey back to Salou.

Views from the Knott End Ferry jetty over to Fleetwood, along the seashore footpath by The Esplanade and across Pilling Sands to Morecambe Bay.

Our first views over the walls by Baraka Gardens in Valletta. Sadly, it rained so we headed back to the bus station.

An interesting journey.

Azmak is the name in short of a short but deep stream which joins the sea in Akyaka and formed by springs extending about two miles from East to West. Its depth allows boats to ascend it for a considerable distance and the richness of its underwater fauna made it a favorite spot for daily boat tours around Akyaka and for scuba diving. The water is cold and slightly salty due its level course with the sea across the plain, but watercress and celery thrive in Azmak and restaurants along its course make the stream a symbol and an important point of attraction for Akyaka region.

The word "azmak", sometimes used to describe a river, means "running wild" in Turkish, in a reference to the stream's strong, rather than violent, current, especially in winter.

A different route today when we took our dog, Ruby out for a walk.... We headed to the end of Hackensall Road and through the woods via the footpath behind the houses on the left of the road. Some lovely bluebells were spotted as well as a number of fallen trees.

We often visited the #VillaVenecia Hotel, #Benidom many years ago when we used to take All Inclusive #holidays with the #AmigosGroup which allowed their hotel residents to use the facilities in all of the hotels in the chain. The #views are spectacular and from the sofas inside, it feels like you are on a cruise ship!

Children from the local school on Pilling Lane were having a great time in the mud by Pilling Sands along the coastal footpath today as we took a bicycle ride from Knott End on Sea to the Golden Ball Pub via Pilling Lane, the coastal pathway and Fluke Hall Lane, then back again.

A grand day out - a little over 7 miles cycle ride. We treated ourselves to a cool, refreshing half of lager at the half way stage :-)
