I really liked this shot, these are the flowers that bloom right before peaches start growing on the tree. It's in my backyard.

This location opened in May 2019 and closed in October 2020; it was originally an Eckerd, which was built and opened in 2003. It became Rite Aid #11423 in fall 2007.
Store #12668, 101 Green Ridge St; opened in 2010 across from a busy CVS (which was originally located in the same lot where the Walgreens was built, along with it's former co-anchor Acme; both were demolished long before Walgreens). Closed March 2020; currently vacant.

This location was built and opened in 2003 and closed on March 9th, 2020. It became a Dollar Tree in July 2021.
The site originally housed Gulf Majik Market, which opened in the late 1970s. It became a Chevron in the late 1980s.

This Walgreens seems to be rebranding itself as a British pharmacy chain called "Boots"... More info will come, as I find it.

Seen abandoned at University and Pascal by Walmart. Likely from the Walgreens in the Midway plaza across Pascal.

Despite closing in a few weeks at the time of this photo, there was no clearance sale, they were simply selling down the stock without replenishing. Customers were being referred to the nearby location at 200 W. Adams, located about two blocks away.

Safeway located at 301 East 18th St. in Oakland,CA. The building is now occupied by a Walgreens which has done very little to the exterior showing its past as a Safeway. Im quite pleased with how Walgreens retained the openness of the interior complete with the natural wooden beams still exposed (instead of painted over).
When I think Walgreens, I think of stores like this one... clean, well built, welcoming, and staffed with knowledgeable employees.
Here is the same exact view seen back when Safeway opened on September 29th 1965...
