The Triple Tree Aerodrome BT-13 (the Vultee Vibrator) roars by for the daily 7AM wakeup fly-by. Pat Derrick is at the controls for this traditional start to every day at the Triple Tree fly-in.
Really wasn't feeling it with this girl.I didn't have the right lense with me and her hair jsut wasn't sitting right. need to try again.
H.T.T.everybody! (happy tongue Tuesday!)
I snapped this early this morning while I was getting ready to leave the house.
Just wanted to make sure everybody got their daily dose of kittens!
At this point I don't leave the camera far away when I'm upstairs, because we are on complete cuteness overload now.
Tomorrow it's back to the zoo and I can't wait to get back and see those fabulous big kittens again.I hope they have the snow leopard cubs out in their yard. I might even be able to get a picture that's in focus this time! 8-)
Oh yes....btw....Vinny has made the big leap and has decided to start eating solids.
I've been offering up the occasional small plate of watered down mushy kitten food, in hope of sparking some interest, but until tonight, nobody was in the slightest bit interested.
Dora and Ozzie haven't checked out the plate yet, but I'm sure they'll start to take an interest in the next day or two.
I can tell that Sally is ready for them to start to wean now. She's spending more and more time away from them, and has started taking an interest in exploring parts of the house she didn't have time to get to before she had the kittens.
I should have just taught this class wearing a clown costume everyday. It works to be animated anyway!
..on Friday morning means I'm sick at home
..means I can forget about all the things I have to do
..means I can open my moleskine and write down all the things I want to do
..but I don't have to do all of them, I'll choose only most pleasant ones!
Loon Mt. 2011--The Younger appears to still be asleep as the sun creeps over the mountain. The Elder who is awake is really enjoying his coffee.
I got my 50mm lens back, and it's time to play around. After I wake up, that is.
*update* - my 50mm lens is 'lost' to me again. I gotta stop lending it out.
Senza nessun bisogno di raccontare un risveglio neanche sembra un momento, ma un lento rincorrere del tempo.
Su ilClaustrofo la didascalia sbagliata per una foto "esatta": Immagine. Appunti di un risveglio.
So the story goes:
Jeffrey: "Hey, wake me up in like 20 minutes. Just slap me or something."
So we waited 25 minutes so we could pull the camera out.
For the trip from Italy to Poland, we had to wake up at 3 am but, during the night before it, I slept only 2,5 hours to chat with my boyfriend which couldn't come and had to stay in Genoa :-P This is the reason why I have this sleepy face in this shot.
"Don't you hate when someone sticks a camera in your face when you're sleeping with your tongue all hanging out? The Mom is going to pay for this."
Happy Furry Friday!
