At the side of the road there are two heaters in a fenced enclosure then an inspection cover slightly North with another two unfenced heaters further North.

This was the WWII bathing area created after the United States invaded Roi-Namur. The G.I.'s needed a place to bathe so this large bathtub was built. Now it hold stagnet water and whatever falls into it from the trees above.

A WWII memorial stone at Ferguson Point in Stanley Park.
It says "This Area Was The Site of a Coast Defence Fort Manned During World War II 1939 - 45 by The Royal Canadian Artillery"

These flight wires emerge from a hole in a bulkhead wall, moving through a pulley and then downward.

Gene Elsea, a member of the Patriot Guard who lives in Dayton, Tenn., salutes as Taps is played during a funeral for Staff Sgt. Berthold A. Chastain on Wednesday in Birchwood, Tenn. Chastain, went missing aboard a B-24 Liberator bomber in World War II. His remains were recently recovered and returned to the family.
