Loved the symmetry of this place, took me almost an hour of waiting to get the opportunity of shooting this without any people.

Buc-ee's is an American chain of country stores, gas stations, and electric vehicle chargers created and owned by Arch "Beaver" Aplin III, headquartered in Lake Jackson, Texas.

Buc-ee’s next stop: I-10 between New Orleans and Mississippi’s casinos and beaches. Yay!

The Mississippi location will be one of the biggest in size, only topped by Texas locations in Hillsboro, Luling, and Sevierville, TN.

What a fun place! Harley couldn't believe his eyes. Don't mess with Buc-ee's!

This is my second tribute to my second-favorite TV series "Killing Eve" (the first tribute was here). This is the most famous shot from the whole series, but it's not exactly what it seems. :) It seems like Villanelle is threatening Eve, which is true, but in fact she did it only after Eve tried to attack her with this knife, and she meant no harm both before and after that attack, she was just scaring Eve. Oh, did I mention I'm a big fan of both of them? :D

My ALTERNATE ENDING for the series is on the way, follow me! ;)

You can watch a part of the scene here (too bad it cut out before the funny moment when Villanelle asked Eve for the PIN of her phone, and we learned that MI5 agent has a PIN of 1234):

Flickr Lounge: books

I'm practicing still-life photography, and for this session I decided to use items that are old or look like they could be old. The selection (not everything appears in any one photo): a table that is only two years old, chairs that are probably a few decades old, a perfume bottle and a pill bottle that were given to me as gifts several years ago, pens that belong to my husband but that he contributed to the photo shoot when I saw items I had laid out on the table and guessed I was taking photos, Indian head pennies and buffalo nickels, a jasper necklace I made, a chain necklace with decorative keys that I made, roses that I dried, and some books. The books: two leather journals that I bought this year because I like how they look; the heart one is for myself and the other is for my husband (though he doesn't know it yet--it was put away out of sight when he saw my props), and two old Bibles. A couple of photos also include the base of a candleholder.

This is a unique cafe in Copenhagen which is located in an old tram on the canal. I love the design and couldn't help taking several photos of the interior. This is one of them. I love how the light creates a cinematic look on this photo.

It's all a matter of scale ;)

A close up shot of N102TV - a Trans International McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30CF seen in the maintenance area of Shannon Airport. In contrast is the diminutive Piper Pa-31 Navajo EI-BDW in the foreground. I never got closer than this to a DC-10! The aircraft callsign was TV82714R which was a little strange?

The DC-10 was the widebody that I most liked to watch and photograph. The aircraft design was particularly suited to a number of airline liveries, Thai International being one of my all time favourites.

N102TV c/n 46801 - McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30CF was one of three aircraft delivered new to Trans International Airlines in 1973. The aircraft flew with the airline (and successor Transamerica) for over ten years, including a two year stint in 1983-84 leased out to Air Florida. The aircraft was then sold to Federal Express as N302FE and later converted to a pure freighter. Converted again to an MD-10F, the aircraft was still flying with FedEx in 2014.

Taken using East European ORWO film which I experimented with for a short time in 1978-79. The film was really grainy. One of a small number of slides taken by me in 1977-78, before I purchased my first SLR camera - a Zenith E.
