Posted for the Saturday Self Challenge ...looking up...A tricky one this week, mainly because it's been a busy week and in the end I had to find something interesting in the house to snap from below...most interesting thing I came up with was my new standard lamp... presented here ....
Polarized light photo of plastic spoon on plate. The spilt material is silica gel. Part of a long term project photographing everyday objects using polarized light. Cross polarization using LCD screen as a light source and circular polarizer on camera lens.

I started out with a yellow happy face and multiplied it in photoshop, making others different colors. I then made a print, put it under a bowl of water, and shot away.
