Came across this whilst I was looking for something else - Venice is one of my favourite cities in the world. I spent some time removing tv antennae, power lines etc.
We spent a hot few days here in July 2013.

I loved the beautiful stonework at @GettyMuseum campus.
So many unique photographic opportunities. Never mind the exhibits!
Colorful abstract image of various hot air balloons in close proximity during mass inflation, taken at the NJ Ballooning festival in Readington, NJ (July 2022). West Dover is a small fishing community on the South Shore of NS just before Peggy's Cove when travelling from Halifax. It was a dark and foggy morning but that made for an interesting atmosphere.
I saw this alley in Cromer and it looked so inviting. i must have walked past it hundreds of times without noticing it. Maybe it was just the light, at that particular point in time, that made it stand out.

J'ouvre un livre, et là , mon chapeau prend des allures d'une photo de Ralph Gibson.
How to know ? We'll have to look inside this hat, try and read lhe label which I can image stuck onto this woven material, precisely where it touches the top of the head. I imagine it to be yellowish, like my dustbin or the inside of an egge, but I can read nothing but the obsessive search for a sign of authenticity wich Ralph has already given me in speaking of « Piece of Visual Intelligence ».

It was warm and wonderful last night at Peggy's Cove and there were crowds of tourists and locals enjoying the great weather and the view. I am so glad those who travelled from afar were treated to such a great sky! We have driven out there for sunset a few times this summer only to find dull sky and clouds. Last night the colors grew stronger after the sun was down. I was going to do an HDR on this but I liked the silhouette with the new chairs that are all around the cove since the renovations last winter.
