Note: The exif says Zeiss Batis 2.8/18 because that's the last lens with an electronic connection I used on the camera. The photo was actually taken with Nikkor's 20mm f/3.5 UD. Less contrast than the Zeiss and no autofocus, but an excellent and affordable old lens.

The DPU on CP train 550 passes OSRX 6508 waiting on 550 to clear before they can head out to Coakley to grab their cars.
Got up early in Cowra with Ray to catch the Full moon setting over a canola field at Woodstock. I took this at 200mm to get a good size moon. Thanks for viewing.

The Woodstock Music and Art Fair in 1969 drew more than 450,000 people to a pasture in Sullivan County. For four days, the site became a countercultural mini-nation in which minds were open, drugs were all but legal and love was "free". The music began Friday afternoon at 5:07pm August 15 and continued until mid-morning Monday August 18.

Woodstock, VT, is a very attractive New England village, especially with fall foliage.
At the end of the street is the First Congregational Church. It was rebuilt in 1890.

2019 marks the 60 year anniversary of the Whitefish Winter Carnival in Whitefish, Montana This nordic themed festival one of the highlights of winter in this ski town. This year is also the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, the 1969 iconic music festival. This year’s Winter Carnival was a salute to Woodstock. Besides the normal viking costumes, there were plenty folks dressed in tie-dye and vintage clothes from 1969. Peace!

This is the one time farm field where the Woodstock music festival took place in August, 1969. The yellowish area at left is where the main stage was constructed. The grassy slope at right is where the audience situated themselves. It is difficult to discern, but at upper right, where the grade breaks is a faint peace symbol cut into the grass.
