The MV Wisom grounded at Juhu Beach, Mumbai, India. This boat became a tourist attraction over the weekend and caused such a crazy situation in terms of traffic and people. The paper also spoke about how people almost drowned trying to swim to the boat when there was more of a tide.

"The Angel that presided o'er my birth
Said, "Little creature, formed of joy and mirth,
Go love without the help of any thing on earth."
--from " The Angel That Presided" by William Blake
Tortoises generally have lifespans comparable with those of human beings, and some individuals are known to have lived longer than 150 years. Because of this, they symbolize longevity in some cultures, such as China. The oldest tortoise ever recorded, indeed the oldest individual animal ever recorded, was Tui Malila, who was presented to the Tongan royal family by the British explorer Captain Cook shortly after its birth in 1777. Tui Malila remained in the care of the Tongan royal family until its death by natural causes on May 19, 1965. This means that upon its death, Tui Malila was 188 years old.

~ Chie no Wa Wisdom Ring ~
A replica of a 500-year-old stone lantern that has become a symbol of Miyazu, Delray Beach's sister city in Japan. The original Wisdom Ring, or Chie no Wa in Japanese, stands at a temple dedicated to the Buddhist deity of wisdom, Monju. This replica was donated by the citizens of Miyazu to commemorate the the Morikami Museum's 20th anniversary in 1997.
Wisdom calls aloud in the streets; she raises her voice in
the public squares. She calls out at the street corners; she
delivers her message at the city gates. “You simple people, how
much longer will you cling to your simple ways? How much
longer will mockers revel in their mocking and fools go on
hating knowledge? Pay attention to my warning. To you I will
pour out my heart and tell you what I have to say.
“Since I have called and you have refused me, since I
have beckoned and no one has taken notice, since you have
ignored all my advice and rejected all my warnings, I, for my
part, shall laugh at your distress, I shall jeer when terror befalls
you, when terror befalls you, like a storm, when your distress
arrives, like a whirlwind, when ordeal and anguish bear down
on you. Then they will call me, but I shall not answer, they will
look eagerly for me and will not find me.
“They have hated knowledge, they have not chosen the
fear of Yahweh, they have taken no notice of my advice, they
have spurned all my warnings: so they will have to eat the fruits
of their own ways of life, and choke themselves with their own
scheming. For the errors of the simple lead to their death, the
complacency of fools works their own ruin; but whoever listens
to me may live secure, will have quiet, fearing no mischance.
Proverbs 1:20-33
"They're right you know...about the wages of sin and going to hell. Look at them. With those signs and megaphones, surrounded by demonic assholes, they ARE in Hell. And the fags screaming back, possessed with anger and such indignation...ALL of them in Hell."
The Right Reverend Baba Tambataja "Dr. Watts" Andrew Nolan "of the Kings"
Scott Bourne gives lots of advice on his Photofocus podcast. One tip is to not leave the scene too early, something Ross and I have been guilty of doing on many occasions. This morning, after a disappointing sunrise at Wellington Point, we had packed up the car and were backing out of the car park, when we saw the sun bravely breaking through the heavy cloud cover. I grabbed the camera and jumped out to snap off some shots. James was already driving off towards the next location and Ross was yelling at me that I only could take 3 frames. Well, I took 4, but the first one came up the best. Nothing like feeling under pressure!
