I personally dont like gunmetal color on helmets. It is Vallejo Gummetal grey but I would personally use just dark grey or dark green for it, but it is your call.
Some cleanup still needs to be done wirh camo where I painted over some areas

hopefully this is gonna be nice and peaceful place to live. Not like the last MOC :)
A few ideas to carry on with after I've sorted my collection and moved into my new place.
I've always had a fascination with the way Gundam Mecha looked. I've also never been able to shake off my inability to see things through. I always get far with any undertaking, but never far enough. I suppose it's because I always know how to satisfy my "instant gratification monkey". This has led to pretty much all MOCs in my room being in a WIP state. Maybe it's because my collection isn't sorted? Maybe it's because I get bored easily? Maybe I have some undiagnosed form of ADHD?
But lately I've been wanting to turn things around and finally finish something off completely. And hopefully my Destiny Hunter MOC, My Twilight Valkyrie, and my Naval Commander, will be finished by late August.
Have you guys ever experienced my problem? If so, have you been able to combat it and make it a thing of the past? Curious to know what you guys think!
My diorama WIP. It's basically an apocolypse diorama, and the building is a sort of a base. Features include: A real sliding door, a broken down fence, bullet holes in the building, SNOT windows (Yum!) and a giant hole in the wall!!....You think that last feature is the best, don't ya! xD It's on a 32x32 baseplate, and I need to know what to have on the rest! Tell me what you think I should put on it.

Well, no real progress but about to get started on some, weather is great and I have a bunch of time now.
Btw, be careful opening sun umbrellas around ships - I just destroyed the entire bow and had to rebuilt that part...
Hope to get this finished this week and stitched into a cushion. I've got a few other WIP's that need completing too.

Stitched on 25count evenweave
Cross Stitcher magazine pattern from September 2011.
Approx 40 hours to complete (although I'm taking longer after committing the rookie error of turning my stitching on it's side to do the border, and then having to unpick it all because the stitches ran in the wrong direction)
I think I now have the shaping and dimensions about 90% figured out for the wings/mandibles/arms of this ship. I have built a good portion of the wing itself in the real brick too. The render is admittedly not the best, but as good as it gets for now. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
Bodices sewn! Now to make the skirts, attach them, sew details, and give them a final steaming for shape.

I haven't had much time to work on this lately, with Splatoon 2 being my life now.
I've got a cockpit that i'm pretty happy with. The fuselage is really stumping me, though. Not sure how i'm going to cover all that up yet. Perhaps something made of LEGO.
