Casa Loma (Spanish for Hill House) is a Gothic Revival style house and gardens in midtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, that is now a museum and landmark. It was originally a residence for financier Sir Henry Mill Pellatt. Casa Loma was constructed over a three-year period from 1911–1914. The architect of the mansion was E. J. Lennox, who was responsible for the designs of several other city landmarks. 221
We saw this big horn sheep as we were approaching the Logan Pass on Going to the Sun Road. My husband noticed a herd grazing on the field below the parking lot. They were just hanging out and people were taking pictures. Luckily, no one was that close and gave the sheep plenty of distance. I used my 75-300 lens to get a close up.
This guy was just watching me as I was walking by going to the trail behind him. He didn't move, but kept watching me as I walked by. It was such a strange feeling, like I was a trespasser, which, I kind of was.

In breeding season, they live on cliff ledges festooned with thousands of other birds yet manage to look as if there's not a feather out of place

This squirrel looks innocent and even pose for a few minutes, but somehow all my plants get in bad shape every day. It may look sweet but I think it's guilty.
That's what Barred Owl calls sound like. Very distinctive! This one appeared in the same place and time as last year. I'm glad, I only had to go a half mile from home. It was 7:33a.m. dark and gloomy, plus it was sitting deep in the brush. Bucks County PA.

Had this unknown little visitor arrive and check out the food on the ground. So, the question arises as to who are you. I feel like I am in the middle of a CSI investigation where they try to identify the perpetrator. Luckily, this little guy was kind enough to do a sitting for an ID photo (where else does that happen?). Prior to Don's solution below, my guess was a Lincoln’s sparrow, something that I am completely unfamiliar with. Thanks to all of you who participated in the survey.
Mystery Solved
Don Delaney has come up with the solution and identifies it as a juvenile chipping sparrow. Thank you Don for being the ultimate Bird CI.
Further description:
no yellow markings other than the gape and tip of lower mandrible
no dark spot on the chest
no grey on the bird just different shades of tan
better viewed on black.
