Puns aside, I thought making bread would be a good thing to do.
Rustic isn't the word for this loaf.
The taste test awaits.
our next series is "What the church can learn from Bay View". we are going to teach through the church's values. we are interviewing people from various area organizations and businesses who are doing that value well and putting these on videos for each week. this will allow us to value these relationships we've built while teaching these values from the Bible and from what we can learn from these people.
i thought i could get away with a LITTLE color (to highlight the title) because there are colored pencils in the image.
i put 2 of the businesses on the title page to give more breathing room. with having all of them on the other page they were small and a bit squished. but, is that confusing?
thoughts? thank!!!
Like this pic? More pix from Cycle U Kick-Off Cross are already posted here, and the entire collection will be posted within three days of the race.
I loved the Dandylion outfit ever since I first saw it at the LA convention, so when I finally got mine, it only made sense to me to combine it with our fab event doll, Onyx!
Luca doens't hide it when she's unhappy with us... Can't we see it's past time for her afternoon walk? What do we want from her anyway?
So I helped organise a reunion for my high school tutor group, as it's 20 years since we left school. I was really nervous about going, I didn't have the best time at school, but it was absolutely brilliant! we're now trying to arrange a reunion for the whole year group, should be interesting!

Yeah, there are a few things odd about this picture. Firstly there's the fog, which was floating like this in a complete ring around the bay. Second is that bizarre gold tint - okay, not a tint, more like gold leaf - on the water. It's okay, I can explain...sort of. You see, this picture was taken with a Soligor 80-200 mm lens that originated in a time I can only describe as "back in the day." To give you an idea of how far back, it cost $10. I'd used it before the trip and was convinced that it tended to give a warm cast to pictures taken with it (its owner - who rarely if ever uses it - disagreed). When I used it on the trip, it had the alarming habit of sucking the color out of every image it captured, making them look nearly gray-scale. Luckily I had begun to shoot in raw at this point, so I was able to recover the color...and discovered that I was right and it really does have a habit of giving things a warm cast. A really weird, metallic one. Uh...so there you go, I guess. Oh yeah, and the third weird thing about this pic is that I can't remember whether that's the Golden Gate Bridge or the nearly-identical bridge to Oakland. I'm not sure I ever really knew...
Great stuff when it's a working Sindy Magic Cooker that sizzles and hisses.
I so LOVE that my daughter opted for the ebay find of a whole Sindy house and contents over modern trashfest doll stuff, poorly made....for her birthday money

On Saturday, Conor had a shoot for React What! clothing. I tagged along to help him out with lighting and different positioning of the models and took some random shots of my own. Check out his set at - www.flickr.com/photos/conorkeller/sets/72157619415045864/
