I made slashes to weave a more colorful fabric through?
Jude did it and I did it on my chicken quilt. It adds texture and color. Just get your rotary cutter and go for it!
Around a year back, some hoomans decided to mark their presence on this beautiful tree at the Casuarina Coastal Reserve. Time has mostly undone their scribblings. Shan't be long until the markings of the hoomans are but a memory. And a photograph.

This was taken on La Mesa Eco Park. the park is under the La Mesa Watershed. This water shed provides water for Manila (capital of the Philippines) and other nearby area. Efforts have been made to make this little watershed survive. few years ago, land developers are planning to put up a subdivision on the area but due to the efforts of concerned individuals, the plan was not carried on. The action includes, signature campaign, mass exposure of the proposed area in the national television and print material.

Pines Hotel, Pinebluff Arkansas. We had gotten permission to go take photographs of the abandoned hotel. I hate to see such a wonderful building go to waste. It was huge!!

Went back up to Sandusky this morning I left at 4:30 this morning and got up there at 7am. It wasn't 10 minutes when the male came back with branches for the nest. These big beauties can sneak up on you in a flash. This is truly something to see!! You never know what kind of show these eagles will put on.

Family camp. All of the older kids would climb this rock and jump off into the swimming hole. This was a challenging shot, with the sun reflecting on the back rocks, the boy in the mid ground and shadows in the foreground. Still learning to use my camera, I was trying all kinds of crazy settings.
After Kevin lost his wallet he told me that all it would take to get everything cancelled was one phone call. Cue numerous phone calls and valuable time wasted.

What the crowd had been waiting for - the arrival of B-24 Liberator N24927 'Diamond Lil' from the USA.
Built in 1941 as a B-24A intended for the RAF 120 Squadron (as AM927) it suffered an accident on its initial ferry flight, so it eventually arrived in UK 51 years and one week late! Returning to Fort Worth it was later converted to a C-87 VIP transport. It operated for Continental Can from 1948 to 1959 when it passed to Pemex in Mexico as XC-CAY.
The Confederate Air Force - then at Harlingen, Texas - bought her in 1968.
It flew around Biggin Hill including a formation with B-17G Sally B.
By 2009 it was painted as camouflaged B-24A “Ol’ 927”
