Just over two hours from Perth, this spot was my original plan last month—before the rising Milky Way core stole the show. This time, everything lined up perfectly: no wind, low humidity, clear skies… just a few too many creepy crawlers for comfort! ️🐜
This shot is a 5x3 panorama capturing the southern Milky Way standing tall in the center. Those faint smudges on the left? They’re the Magellanic Clouds—dwarf galaxies orbiting our Milky Way.
